Creche 0-2s
There is a creche available for children and babies under the age of 2 years.
Junior Church 2-7s
Currently we include all children aged 2-7 in one group. Family focus is important, and older children are encouraged to help younger ones.
The programme includes:
• Worship
• Teaching
• Craft
• Special care
Our aims are:
• To encourage the children into a relationship with Jesus.
• To help them understand how special they are to God, and that he wants to use them.
• To help them understand the Bible and to love reading it.
• To have fun.
• To honour our children.
Junior Church 7-11s
The programme for this group includes worship and Bible teaching, with opportunity for discussion, and a variety of different activities. The aims remain the same as for the younger group, with greater emphasis on understanding how what we believe affects the way we live.
WorldChangers
This group meets most weeks, except when it’s a guest service, baptism or other special event, so that the young people can begin to integrate with the adult teaching. By this age, young people are keen to see how their faith applies to contemporary issues. Teaching is more interactive, with plenty of room for discussion and debate! As always, the bible is our source book for truth and wisdom, and we’re seeking to establish a love of the scriptures in young hearts and minds.
We also have some social events throughout the year, usually on an occasional Friday or Saturday evening – some just for the WorldChangers, and some together with the Revolution Youth group.
The challenge to young people between 11 and 13 is this - to recognise that your life is like a blank sheet of paper that God wants to write on. God has got things for you to do in your life that only you can do. You can be a WORLD CHANGER! We each make a difference in our world - to the people around us - we will change history, just by being in it. But will those changes be what God wants? They will be, if we have GOD IN US. That doesn’t just mean becoming a Christian, but it means getting GOD INTO US EVERY DAY.
