This is a group for retired folk in the community, who gather from 2.00-3.45pm on Friday afternoons at Lindisfarne House.
There is a varied programme week to week, with plenty of games and quizzes, guest speakers, meals and outings. It’s a time of good company and friendship.
Every other year the ladies gather for a weekend away together, a time to spend in fellowship with God and each other. Our last ladies weekend away was in September 2016.
The Ladies’ Bible Study is meeting point and bible study specifically for women, held on alternate Tuesday mornings from 9.50am for 10am start at Lindisfarne House. This is a time for sharing together and learning together through guided bible study, complemented – of course – by refreshments!
Sozo is an effective prayer ministry.
Sozo is simple, fast, Spirit-led & effective.
Sozo finds issues in minutes instead of years.
Sozo equips you with tools for life’s issues.
Sozo helps heal your relationship with God to enable you to fulfil your destiny.
A Sozo session is not a counselling session, but a time of interacting with Father, Son & Holy Spirit. This normally lasts between 1 ½ and 2 hours.
Appointments for personal ministry can be made by downloading the application form below and either emailing it to the Sozo ministry team at email@example.com or posting it to the church office, addressed to Bethel Sozo Worcester. Alternatively contact the church office for an application form. On receipt of your completed application form, the Sozo team will arrange a convenient time for your ministry.
There is no set fee for Sozo ministry, but, if you are able to make a donation, it will be put towards further Sozo ministry and training. There is a suggested donation figure of up to £25.
Is this for me?

Then this is the ministry for you. Click to download an application form.
…and sets out to explore some of life’s other big questions. Topics covered include: Who was Jesus? Why did he die? Is there life after death? Does prayer make a difference? What about the bible? Does God heal today? Is church relevant? How to make the most of the rest of my life?
Our morning course is held at Lindisfarne House, while the evening course takes place in a local family home, and the evening begins with a meal. Then there is a talk (on DVD with large screen projection). This is followed by an opportunity to discuss the topic together over coffee in a small group.
The setting is welcoming, relaxed and unthreatening. There is no pressure to disclose anything personal; everyone’s opinion is respected.
Our Alpha Course is free of charge, although we do invite participants to make a small donation towards the cost of meals if they wish.
Who’s it for?
The Alpha Course is ideal for anyone interested in exploring some of life’s big questions. You don’t have to be a Christian or a church-goer to take part; indeed, it’s geared to those with little or no God-stuff in their background.
