Bible and Science

Listed below are the dates of all six meetings of the new Bible and Science programme. You are warmly invited to put these dates in your diary before something else comes along and distracts you! Do come along on September 16th to the new venue, Lindisfarne House, on Barbourne Terrace just north of the centre of Worcester. Parking is not a problem.

For the first meeting, we have invited a distinguished visiting speaker, Ernest Lucas, who was a research scientist before he came to the conclusion that theology was ultimately more important. We hope he will find a good audience waiting.

  2. 21 Oct 08 - A Scientist Looks at the Doctrine of the Fall.
  3. 18 Nov 08 - Hybird Embryos, Benefits and Concerns.
  4. 20 Jan 09 - Spirituality and the Brain.
  5. 17 Feb 09 - Humans Cost the Earth.
  6. 17 Mar 09 - The Myth of Science Versus Religion.

These interdenominational Meetings are organised by members of Worcester Churches.
