Partners In Prayer

We want to continue to develop our corporate prayer life and are beginning again to meet every 2nd Sunday of the month for prayer. This will be preceded in the week before with some prayer notes to help our focus. Rather than fast 3 days we are suggesting that one day in that month be given to prayer and fasting. Our next Sunday together in prayer will be December 11th, 7.30pm-9.00pm

In addition to this we would like to have 3 nights of prayer over the year, once a term, in line with the notes for September where we believe the Lord has spoken to us about “setting a watch day & night”.

We will use the steps in the notes to help us on a Sunday night. This enables us to pray as the spirit leads us and gives time to listening to the Lord.

We very much believe this is an area that the Lord is calling us to grow and hope to move to two Sundays a month in the future.

Neh. 4:16. So it was, from that time on, that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and wore armour; and the leaders were behind all the house of Judah.

We need to spend as much time watching as we do working.

This is a call to “all hands on deck” which Rodney brought in recent prophetic word to us.
